What Muster doesn't do
Better you hear this now than find out in month three.
It doesn't apply every award rule yet
Muster checks base rates against the Fair Work minimum and shows your award's penalty rates. Evening penalties, minimum shift lengths, and junior rates still need checking against your award.
It doesn't run payroll or lodge STP
It produces the hours and sends them to Xero. Xero, your payroll process or your accountant runs the pay.
No MYOB sync yet
Xero Payroll (Australia) is connected. If you use MYOB or something else, export a CSV for now.
Alerts are in the app and by email
Staff see them when they open Muster, and get an email if they want one. No SMS yet.
